My gg grandfather, Abijah. I believe he died between 1860 and 1870. He is found living in Rankin Co., MS in 1860 but not found in 1870 MS census. He was a son of George White, born 1784 in South Carolina and died in 1814 in Abbeville Co., South Carolina, and Nancy Chiles Waller White. Abijah's siblings were: William Chiles White, Agnes Waller White, John White, Mary Ann White, Leonard J. White and Richard Moore White.

Known children: James R. White; Sarah White Saulters Roberts; Janie White Roberts and Joel T. White

George married Nancy per will of Nancy's father and info from page 407 of Greenwood County Sketches: Old Roads and Early Families by Margaret and Louise Watson, daughters of a previous owner of Greenwood Index-Journal newspaper

The 1810 census shows George owned 9 slaves. Household members: George and 1 male (26-44), Nancy (26-44), Abijah and William (under 10), 1 male (16-25), Agnes and Mary (under 10).
