John C. McEntire, 63, of 3002 Hale, an interior decorator here for 25 years, died in a hospital at 12:25 p.m. Monday, November 6, 1950. He had been ill for seven months.
McEntire was born in Pulaski, Tennessee, and had lived in Fort Worth for 31 years. He was a member of Diamond Hill Baptist Church.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church with Rev. R. W. Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories.
Survivors are his wife Ollie; two sons, Hollis and Carl McEntire of Fort Worth; three daughters, Orlena Hale of Saginaw, Janice Williams and Betty Jo Norris of Fort Worth; nine brothers, Ernest of Chillicothe, A.W of Bridgeport, D.T. of Decatur, O. N. of Gainesville, R.H. of Comanche OK, H.C. of Bryan, V.W. and V.W.of Amarillo, and L.W. and S.W. of Fort Worth; two sisters, Marie Collins of Fort Worth and Beulah Vanlandingham of Boyd; and 10 grandchildren.
