Rites Tuesday for Miss Wanda Bowling
Funeral services for Miss Wanda M. Bowling, whose death occurred Sunday morning, September 19th, at 1:30 o'clock at her home, 610 Cleveland Street, were held Tuesday afternoon, September 21, at two o'clock at the Gubser Funeral Home. Reverand Arthur A. Vins, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated at the rites and interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Miss Bowling was the daughter of Mrs. Wm. C. Robinson of Jerseyville and the late W. A. Bowling. She was born March 28, 1925, at Clayton, New Mexico, and her age at the time of death was twenty-three years, five months and twenty-one days. Since her graduation from Jersey Township High School, Miss Bowling held secretarial positions and recently was employed in the office of the Cutting Agency. Because of recent surgery she had been away from her work for the past few weeks.
Surviving the decedent are her stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. C. Robinson and one half sister, Wilma Ann Robinson.
