Eleanor Borsani, 80, of Aliquippa, passed on her birthday, February 14, 2013 while under the compassionate care of the staff at Elmcroft Nursing Care Center, Chippewa Township, PA.

Eleanor was born in Mansfield, daughter of the late Adam and Lena (Zimmerman) Holzworth.

She was a wonderful wife and mother; as well as owning and operating an electrolysis business for many years. A woman of faith, she was a longtime member of the House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Aliquippa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Louis Holzworth.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years: Albert Borsani; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Richard Hammond, Aliquippa; Jeff and Michelle Hammond, Aliquippa; two grandchildren: Clinton Hammond and Amelia Hammond; one great granddaughter: Kinsley Scott; four sisters: Marie (Jim) Melching, Mansfield, OH; Evelyn Bemiller, Mansfield, OH; Rose Holzworth, Mansfield, OH; Marge Roush, Shelby, OH; many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Monday, February 18, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Her funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 2100 Irwin Street, Aliquippa, with Pastor Mike Sourwine, officiating. The public is respectfully asked to go directly to the church on Tuesday morning. Services will conclude in the Church. Private interment will follow in the John F. Kennedy Garden at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
