Carl Seibel was born in Russia, he immigrated to the United States with his parents and siblings June of 1879 on the ship Switerzland, he was about 10 years of age.
Charles married Scharlotte Schwartz Buchmiller January 17, 1889, she had one son. Ten children were born to the couple.Katie (1890-1891), Katheryn Marie Delk (1892-1962), Charles C. (1894-1980), Fred (1896-1981) Hulda Janzen (1898-1979), Bertha Cornelson (1905-2000), Emanuel C, (1903-1976), Elma Koslowsky (1905-2000), Ruby Arbsland (1909-1996) and Clifford (1914-1942).
Their first house in Oklahoma was a one room sod house. Charles worked as a farmer and auctioneer. After the death of his wife in 1924 he retired and spent months at a time visiting his children. In the summer of 1928 he became ill and passed away September 20, 1928 at his farm in Major County Oklahoma.
