Mrs. Addie D. Hermes, 39 Archbald street, died Thursday afternoon at the Carbondale General Hospital, following an illness of two weeks.
Her late husband, John F. Hermes, a painting contractor, died in 1939. Mrs. Hermes was a member of the First Methodist church and the Bethany Home Sunday School Class.
Her only survivor is a nephew, John R. Kelly, Jackson Heights, Long Island.
The body has been removed to the Blickens Funeral home, 20 Sixth avenue, where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Roger B. Glazler, pastor of First Methodist church, officiating. Interment will be in Maplewood cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
