Burton A. Williams, a veteran of the union army, died at his home, 1014 East Rice street, at 5 o'clock this morning, having been born on June 26, 1838.
Surviving Mr. Williams are his wife, Flava Williams; three sons, Fred G. Williams of South Bend, Ed. I. Williams of Keokuk, Iowa, and Burton Williams of Elkhart; a brother, John Williams of Niles, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Evick and Mrs. Livy Conrad, both of Niles, and Mrs. Louisa Brushart of Elkhart.
The funeral will be held Friday, with services at 2 p.m. at the home, conducted by Rev. D.H. Guild of the Trinity Methodist church.
