Adela Casillas Mestas, 78, was born on January 5, 1935 in Colton and was a long-time resident of San Bernardino. She passed away on February 8, 2013 surrounded by her loved ones. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many.
Adela was the daughter of Jose and Juanita Casillas.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years; three sons; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two married sisters.
Adela was preceded in death by her brothers Jimmy and Adreas Casillas, and sisters Natalie Casillas, Gloria Lopez and Annie Colunga.
Visitation and Rosary services will be held February 18th from 6:00 until 8:00pm at Harrison and Ross Mortuary on Highland Ave in San Bernardino.
Mass will be on February 19th at Saint Anthony Church, 1640 Western Avenue, San Bernardino, at 10:00am, with burial immediately following at Mt View Cemetery.
