Services for Wheeler C. Mansell, 95, of Russellville, were held Thursday afternoon from Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Edmund Cagle and Dale Andrews officiating.
Burial followed in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Franklin County, Mansell was a member of Washington Avenue Church of Christ, and was retired from Southern Railroad after 40 years of service. He died Wednesday at North Alabama Hospital following an extended illness.
