OBITUARY :
MRS. ANNA ELIZABETH BOWMAN, wife of David Bowman, died at her late home in Pleasant Valley Wednesday evening of complications, aged 77 years.
Mrs. Bowman is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Anna Knott, Emmitsburg; Mrs. Jennie Kuhn and John Bowman, Smithsburg and Emory, David, Henry, Clegie and Mahlon, all at home. Fifty-one grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral was held Saturday afternoon.
