Bertha Willis, 76, of 406-1/2 North Columbia Avenue in Campbellsville, died at 8:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 13, 1981, at the Metzmeier Nursing Home. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Mr. Coy Willis April 27, 1926. He preceded her in death April 8, 1970. To this union two sons and one daughter were born: James L. Willis of Campbellsville, Route 3, Ray B. Willis of St. Martinsville, Louisiana, and Shirley Noel of Elkhorn, Route 1. Besides her children, she is survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Jeff H. Campbell, Sr. of Campbellsville and Minnie Rice of Campbellsville, Route 3; and several other relatives. Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Bob Martin and Dr. D.L. Druien. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery.
