MRS. ADDIE SEELEY DEAD
Mrs. Addie Seeley, wife of George Seely, born in Virginia, died at her home, a mile east of Kennett, Saturday night, at 1 o'clock, August 1 , 1912, at the age of 64 years, 5 month and 1 day.

The funeral was held at the family home. Rev. J.M. Blaylock conducting religious services, the interment being at Oak Ridge cemetery, Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs. Seeley, whose maiden name was Floyd, came to Dunklin county when a child. She was first married to Harrison Owens, a prominent and early settler.

Of the union, four children were born, these being Mrs. Lillie Johnson, wife of M. J. Johnson, Mrs. Lena Blair, wife of Carl Blair, of this place, and W.E. Owens, of Dermott, Ark., and another daughter, now dead, Iona, who was married to Sid Hazel.

Mrs. Seeley was a mother to many, a friend to every class and was loved by thousands. She was a faithful member of the Methodist church during most of her life and until death. Mr. Owens died in the early eighties and she was married to George Seeley, in 1887.

She had been in poor health for several years, but her condition only grew serious in the past few months
