Helen Rucker, 61, Campbellsville (Taylor County), daughter of Ernest Williams and the late Vela Clark Williams, born in Pontiac. Ill., June 23, 1929, died at 3:15 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, 1990, in Campbellsville after an illness
She attended the Kellyville Community Church and was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She was married to W. I. Rucker on Oct. 16, 1948.
Besides her husband and father, she is survived by two sons, Sherman Rucker and Greg Rucker, both of Campbellsville; one granddaughter and four grandsons, Shae Clarke, Bowling Green, Jonathon Rucker, Daniel Rucker, Brandon Rucker and Marcus Rucker, all of Campbellsville; five sisters and four brothers, Norma Walters, Kenneth Williams and Richard Williams, all of Campbellsville, Marie Murrell, Lois Myers and Ernest Williams Jr., all of Louisville, Jim Williams, Webster, Ky., Dorothy Buriss, Sandusky, Ohio, and Mae Bowen, Anderson,. Ind., several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
The funeral was at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 19, 1990, at the Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with Bro. Stanley Watson officiating. Entombment was in the Brookside Mausoleum.
Pallbearers were Mike Humphress, Gerald Rucker, Bobby Mardis, Gene Skaggs, Harold Leach and Jack Whitley.
