He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Liberty, KY.
He united in marriage to Doris Cox December 6, 1962.
Besides his wife, Doris Williams, Campbellsville, KY he is survived by the following:
Two daughters and three sons: Kim Smith and husband Phil of Indiana; Ricky Williams and wife Dana, Shannon Williams, Steven D. Williams and Shaune Williams and wife Lisa, all of Campbellsville, KY
Twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren
Four sisters: Norma Jean Walters of Campbellsville, KY; Marie Murrell and Mae Dean of Indiana, and Velma Lois Myers of Tennessee
Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
