Daughter of George and Alice Lacher. Wife of Charles Roger Hawk, who survived her. Married on July 4,1941 at Liberty Presbyterian Church, Delaware Co, Ohio. Mother of Cynthia and Tom Hawk. Eleanor was graduated from Powell High School and attended Ohio Wesleyan College and Ohio State University. She served 20 years as treasurer of the Olentangy School District. Eleanor helped establish, and was first president of the Powell-Liberty Historical Society.

Preceded by her parents George and Alice Lacher, and four brothers Harold, Robert, George and James.
