The funeral of Robert Lee Davis, of Lorane, was held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock after which interment took place in the family burying ground on the Thomaston Road. Elder Green conducting the services. Mr. Davis was 50 years old. He died Saturday morning at Hawkinsville after an illness of one week. He is survived by his wife, five daughters, Mrs. Oscar Ford, of Lizella, Misses Emma, Annie, Louise and Zilla Davis of Lorane: two sons, Emory and James Davis of Lorane; one sister, Mrs I.P. Davis of Moran; and four brothers, D.S. Davis of Moran, D.S. Davis of Pinehurst, and W.M. and R.B. Davis of Macon.
