Mrs. Hallie M. Booth
Mrs. Hallie Murphy Booth. 80, wife of Edward G. Booth, died at 11 a. m. Monday in the Kentucky Convalescent home. She was born in Owensboro April 27, 1871, the daughter of Thomas M. and Georgia Thompson Murphy, pioneer residents, and had lived all her life at the home place, 422 East 3rd street. Mrs. Booth was a member of St. Paul's Catholic church. Besides her husband, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. William Meigs O'Bryan, Owensboro; four nieces, Mrs. Charles H. Allen, Louisville, Mrs. John A. Medley, and Mrs. Joseph W. Castlen, Jr., both of Owensboro, and Mrs. Miller C. Graham, Charlestown, Ind.; three stepchildren, Sam Booth and Mrs. Robert Field, Owensboro, and Overstreet Booth, Nashville, Tenn. Funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. Thursday In St. Paul's church, Rev. Aloysius Powers, assistant pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Catholic cemetery. Pallbearers: Frank Medley, Sam Booth, Isaac Bresler, Sylvester Monarch, John Lyddane and Frank Mills. The body was taken to the Haley McGinnis Funeral home.

Mrs. W. M. O'Bryan announces the marriage of her sister, Miss Hallie Murphy, to Mr. Edward G. Booth at St. Paul's rectory at 7:30 p. m. Tuesday. The Very Rev. C. P. Bowling, V. G., pastor of the church, officiated.
