ELOISE COLE
Eloise A Cole was born to Elmer and Ruth Dye at Logan, Ks; October 18, 1910 and she died January 1, 1973 at Montebello, California. at the age of 62. She was baptized in the Episcopal Church at the Transfiguration in Logan.
She attended Logan Grade and High School, graduating with the class of 1928. She attended Park College in Parkville, Missouri and Fort Hays Teachers College of Hays Kansas. After teaching one year at the Stone School east of Logan, she clerked in a dress shop and worked in the school library. Eloise was married to Ray W. Cole on June 13, 1936. They made their home in Logan and she was very active in church and civic affairs and was a member of the OES Chapter of Logan.
In the spring of 1943, she moves to California to be with her husband, Ray who was in the service. After her husband's death in March of 1969, she continued to make her home in Montebello until the time of her death.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers; Alfred and Bryan.
Eloise is sadly missed by her three brothers and two sisters and their families; Bill Dye and his wife Ida; Kenneth Dye and his wife Ruth; Don Dye and is his wife Helene; Marguerite Austin; Deborah Stepper and her husband Cy; nieces and nephews, a host of other dear relatives and friends.
Memorial services were held January 4th at Hillside Chapel with interment in Rose-Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, California.
