Funeral rites for John Louie Hargett, 88, of Russellville 8 were held Oct. 25 at 2p.m. from Highsmith Chapel with the Re. J.O. Colley officiating.
Burial was in K of P Cemetery with Highsmith Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hargett died unexpectedly at his home Oct. 23 around 5:15 p.m. He was a native of Franklin County an a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beulah Hargett; three daughters, Mrs. Gwen Schreyer, Des Plains, Ill., Mrs. Imogene Shedd, Russellville, Mrs. Lucy Bolding, Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Miss Annie Hargett, Russellville; two brothers, Gilbert Hargett, Russellville, and Jones Hargett, Tuscaloosa; four grandchildren.
