Norman E. Rippeon, 53, Ridgeville, Carroll County, died at Baltimore City Hospital Sunday, Jan. 31, 1965. Death was the result of injuries he suffered in a fall Jan. 27, when a roof collapsed. He was employed as a maintenance man for T. F. O'Brecht Co., Baltimore. Mr. Rippeon was born in Howard County, a son of the late Harry and Maude Rippeon. He is survived by his widow, Carrie B. Fleming Rippeon; a son, Norman C., Frederick; five sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Mary E. Hawkins, Harry H. Rippeon and Mrs. Richard Green, Woodbine; Mrs. John H. Brown, Mt. Airy; Mrs. Leland Pickett, Poplar Springs; Robert Rippeon and Mrs. George Bowman, West Friendship, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Feb. 4, at the Waltz Funeral Home, Winfield, by the Rev. Bruce Gabbert, Jr., pastor of Montgomery Chapel Methodist Church. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy.
