James V. Wynkoop, a life-long resident of Clinton County, and one of the wealthiest men of Kirklin Township, died Sunday morning at 10 o'clock at his home in Kirklin.

The deceased was 75 years old and his death was due to the infirmities of old age. His wife, Minervia, survives him.

The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock.

This is the second death in the family within a week. Mrs. Lydia Amos, a sister of Mr. Wynkoop, passing away last week.
