Ivan was also preceded in death by a daughter Carol who died in 1958, just before she turned 13.

Carol was my best friend. We spent a lot of times together.
One of my most vivid memories of Ross is when we wanted to go to the show together. We would go ask Ross and he would say "Go ask your Mother". We would ask Rhoda and she would say " Go ask your Dad". Well after about 3 times to each we just said it was ok and we would go.

The whole Washburn family and our family were close friends and neighbors Many good memories were had.

REST IN SWEET ETERNAL PEACE ROSS
