Death of an Old Resident
The Dispatch is again called up to chronicle the death of an old and well known citizen of Erie county, Mrs. Margaret Stevenson, which occurred near West Springfield last Tuesday morning. Mrs. Stevenson had been in poor health for a year past, the result of a severe attack of pneumonia, from the effects of which she never entirely recovered. She came to West Springfield from Oil City over thirty years ago and has lived there ever since. A son, Mr. Boyd Stevenson, lives in this city and is employed at Oliver & Bacon Canal Mills. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 1 o'clock.
