Mary Kate Tansil of 611 South West End Boulevard died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 1988. She was 83 years old.
She was born Sept 22 1905 in Franklin, Tenn., daughter of John B. and Susan Elizabeth Grigsby.
She married W.C. Tansil in 1935. He preceded her in death in 1984.
Mrs. Tansil was a member of the Church of Christ in Cape Girardeau.
She had lived in Sharon, Tenn. for many years before moving to Cape Girardeau.
Surviving are three sons, Grigsby Tansil, Sharon, Tenn., David Tansil, Norristown, Tenn., John Tansil, Cape Girardeau; and five grandchildren.
One brother and four sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral service was held Friday in Sharon, Tenn. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Sharon.
