Mildred Burnett died peacefully of natural causes on Dec. 15, 2011 at the age of 87. She was born to Ted and Etta Krohn in Washougal, WA on March 27, 1924. She was raised with her sister Lovelle in the Sunnyside area and Washougal and attended Washougal High School, graduating in 1942.
Mildred was employed at Vancouver Shipyards and Barnes Hospital during WW II.
She married Lowell Burnett in 1951 and twins, Beth and Bonnie joined their sister, Julie in the family in 1952.
Mildred spent her life in the Vancouver, WA area working in the insurance industry, helping her husband in his "B Mart" business and her friend Susan Courtney at Hidden House. She traveled all over the world with friends, family and as an escort for Vancouver Parks and Recreations for several years.
She loved gardening, sewing, reading, and her precious silver Persian cat, Sweetie Pie.
Mildred is survived by her beloved, Floyd Seeley; daughters, Julie Norton of Brush Prairie, WA, Beth Woodward and Bonnie (Marlin) Steenblock, both of Vancouver; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Lowell; her sister, Lovelle Bair; and her granddaughter, Christy Edington.

A life celebration will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Tues., Jan. 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., 1101 NE 112th Ave., Vancouver.
