Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Hunt Funeral Home is in charge. Mrs. Myers had been in failing health for the past two years.
Born in Clinton County, Ohio, October 19, 1874, she was the daughter of Loami & Margaret Mart Gallaher. In February 1892, she was married to George M. Myers, who died January 15, 1952.
She was a member of the Kirklin Presbyterian Church for many years. In later years she became a member of the Kirklin Methodist Church. She came to Kirklin from Clinton County, Ohio, as a small girl and had lived in the Kirklin community ever since.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lillie Finney of Lebanon route 4; a sister, Mrs. Emma Harding of Kirklin; a brother, Stanley Gallaher of Jewell, Iowa; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A son, Everett, died in an army camp during World War I, and a daughter, Mrs. Anna Neal, two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Johnson and Mrs. Martha Wire, a brother, Alfred and a half-brother Newt McKay, all preceded her in death.
Mrs. Myers reared a grandson, Billy Neal of Indianapolis, from the age of two years.
