Magdalene F. Crews was born on November 20, 1903 in Cobden to Louis and Josephine (Ihle) Flamm. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Joe, Phillip, Carl, Fred, Leo, and John Flamm as well as three sisters, Loudewina Basler, Ruth Turner and Esther Flamm.
She married Thomas J. Crews on November 27, 1924. He preceded her in death on Aug. 30, 1977.
Mrs. Crews died at the age of 95 at Jackson County Nursing Home in Murphysboro.
