Hughes Springs-- Graveside services for Jack Ward Alford, 75, of Avinger will be 10am Monday at Avinger Cemetery with the Rev. Thomas Davis officiating. Reeder-Davis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Alford died Friday in a Linden Nursing Home.
He was a member of the Avinger United Methodist Church and Woodmen of the World.
Survivors include a son, Roy Jack of Russellville, Ark.; two brothers, William B. and Jimmy, both of Avinger; a sister, Nina Sanford of Avinger, and Leah Andrews, of Dallas.
