Darlington- Arlow C. Anderson, age 82, of rural Darlington passed away Monday, March 12, at his home. He was born in Fayette township in Lafayette County on December 30, 1907. He was the son of Andrew and Clara (Larson) Anderson. He attended Cline Elementary School in Lamont township. He was married April 26, 1943 at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Darlington to Flora Schlappi. She preceded him in death on November 15, 1986. He lived and farmed in Fayette Township all of his life.
Surviving area son, Clinton of rural Darlington; and a brother, Victor Anderson of Argyle. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and Cecil. He was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Darlington.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 14 at 2 pm at Immanuel United Church of Christ with Pastor Richard Hetzel officiating. Burial will be in the Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington. Friends may call after 3 pm Tuesday at the Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington.
