Mrs. Andrew Anderson died at her home in Fayette, July 9, 1918. She had been in poor health since December but had not been considered in a serious condition until about the 1st of April, and since then she gradually declined, and although everything was done for her that medical skill could perform, only death could bring relief.
She was born in the town of Fayette, only three miles from the place of her death, Sept. 26, 1874. Her maiden name was Clara Nicholena Larson; she was married to Andrew Anderson February 27, 1907. She leaves to mourn her at a husband and four sons ranging from 2 to 10 years of age.
Her mother, four brothers and one sister also survive her. They are Lewis B. of this place, Mrs. Thos. Hanson of Yellowstone, John of Fayette and Oscar and Albert Larson of Darlington.
The funeral was held on Saturday with burial at the Apple Grove cemetery, Rev. Dommersnaes officiating. She was a member of the Apple Grove Lutheran Church and was highly respected.
A fond mother leaves a broken home, and a loving sister and daughter has forged another link between heaven and earth.
