She was born March 7, 1938, in Lincoln, the daughter of the late William and Gladys (Royal) Southard. Shirley graduated from Penobscot Valley High School in 1956. She enjoyed going to beano, and will be missed by many friends there.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband of many years, Frank Bryer; and a son, Donald Nason. Shirley will be missed by all that knew her. Friends may call from 12-2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Spring interment will be in Howland Cemetery.
