Mrs. Ward had been confined to her bed for the past few weeks and while her death was not unexpected, it came as a severe shock to her many friends.
About three years ago she was united in marriage to Norval Ward by the Rev. John Prentice.
She leaves to mourn her death, besides her husband, two children, one boy and one girl. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Reed, of Frankfort, Ind., eight sisters, Mrs. Bertha Wallace of Middlefork, Mrs. Maggie Graves of Tipton, Mrs. Ethel Scott of Scircleville, Mrs. Blanch King of Sheridan, Mrs. Roma Lanham of Bay City, Mich., Mrs. Otha Guffey of Frankton, Mrs. Jennie Thrine of Kirklin, and one brother, Virgil Reed of Kirklin.
Funeral services were conducted from the Christian Church Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock. Rev. John Prentice officiated.
Burial in Oak Hill cemetery.
