LYMAN J. BRASEE DIES AT PITTSFIELD
Native of Great Barrington and Resident of Tyringham Over 60 Years
Great Barrington, July 18--Lyman J. Brasee, 75, native of Great Barrington, died late this afternoon at St. Luke's hospital in Pittsfield following an operation. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Brasee and was born here October 24, 1860. At the age of four he moved with his family to Tyringham where he lived for 64 years.

Following the death of his wife Mr. Brasee made his home with his son Ero, at Stockbridge. During his life he was a farmer. There are four sons, Clem of Lakeville, Ct., Ivro and Ero of Stockbridge and Charles of Sharon, Ct.; three daughters, Mrs. James Perry of Pittsfield, Mrs. Harold Coons of South Egremont, and Miss Katherine Brasee of Lee; three sisters, Mrs. William Granger of Tyringham, Mrs. Ella Ferry of Stockbridge, and Mrs. Anna Ferry of Sheffield. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 3 at the church at Tyringham with Rev. E.R. Laine of Stockbridge officiating. Burial will be in Tyringham cemetery.
