Final rites for Mrs. Ida Louise Therman, who died Wednesday while on a vacation trip in Texas, have been set for tomorrow afternoon at the Heaton-Bowman funeral home. Dr. G. A. Baldwin will officiate at 3:30 and burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.

Mrs. Therman and her husband, Otto H. Therman, left here two weeks ago. They were visiting her relatives in Follette [Follett], Texas, when Mrs. Therman became ill Tuesday. She was taken to the hospital in Shattuck, Okla., where she died Wednesday afternoon. Born at Wathena, Kan., Mrs. Therman had lived in St. Joseph most of her life. Her home was at 1311 1/2 North 10th street.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Therman is survived by a sister, Mrs. Laura Trader, St. Joseph and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the First Methodist Church Women’s Society of Christian Service, Ladies’ McKinley Club, Y.W.C.A. and Radiant Chapter No. 88, O. E. S..

The body was brought to the funeral home here last night.

Ida Louise (Gutzman) Pumphrey Therman was the daughter of Jacob and Albertina (Benitz) Gutzman.

She was married to Ernest Edgar Pumphrey on November 2, 1910 in St Joseph, Buchanan Co, Missouri.

Some time after Ernest's death she married Otto Therman.
