Inez Ganoe – Jefferson

Inez R. Ganoe, 96, of Jefferson died of complications of a stroke Wednesday at Greene County Medical Center there. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Slininger-Rossow Chapel in Jefferson. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. at Earlham Cemetery in Earlham.

Mrs. Ganoe was born in Palo Alto County, moved to Greene County in 1939 and had lived in the Emmetsburg area and in Ayshire before moving to Jefferson in 1988. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by five sons, Carl of Pittsburgh, Pa., Harvey of Jefferson, Earl of Orange Grove, Texas, Donald of Odem, Texas and Loren of Des Moines; a brother, Harvey Wolff of Emmetsburg; 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley.

Friends may call after noon today at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Greene County Medical Center.
