Monford R. Dodd, 71 of 6005 Scio Rd., SW, Carrollton, died Saturday, October 3, following a brief illness. Born at Perrysville, he was the son of the late Jasper and Cordella (Hess) Dodd and was a life resident of Carroll County. He was a member of Perrysville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former, Audrey Johnston, whom he married in 1933, a daughter, Mrs. Linda Grace of Carrollton and two grand-daughters. Services were held Wednesday October 7, with the Rev. Michael Thurston officiating. Burial was in Perrysville Cemetery. The Allmon-Dugger Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
