Audria Kate Dodd-Sell, age 97, of Carrollton passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, in Aultman Hospital. Born Dec. 31, 1912, in Circleville, WV, she was a daughter of the late Opie and Ratie Alice (Lambert) Johnston. She retired from Scio Pottery, where she was a forewoman, after 47 years of service. She was a member of Perrysville United Methodist Church and enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Grace of Carrollton; two granddaughters, Angie (Alan) Smith of Atwood Lake and Kristin Roberts of Pittsburgh, PA; and three great grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Leah Roberts and Nathanael Roberts.
She married the love of her life, Monford Dodd Nov. 18, 1932, and he passed away Oct. 3, 1981. She married Dwight Sell Dec. 23, 1984, and he passed away June 2, 1988. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Keith, Harlan, George, Merle and Mason Johnston and three sisters, Grace Brown, Leta Shears, and Lorraine Myers. Private funeral services were held Jan. 30 at Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home with Pastor Shaun Archer officiating. Burial was in Perrysville Cemetery.
