From her obituary found in The State 17 February 1996: Services for Jetha Vista Adams, 85, of 538 Georgia St. will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens...Mrs. Adams, wife of the late Gurney Ray Adams Sr., died Friday, Feb. 16, 1996. Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Ollie A. and Minnie Mittiean Ricard. A lifetime resident, she was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Surviving are sons, Omar H. Adams and Gurney Ray Adams Jr., both of West Columbia; a brother, Murray Ricard of Lexington, six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
