Savannah Morning News (GA) January 3, 2005 > Ida Mae Dailey, 90, of Hortense, Georgia died Friday, Dec. 31, in Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick. She was a daughter of Joseph Monroe Alsup and Jessie Jane (Joplin) Alsup. Her husband was George S. Dailey and he preceded her in death. She moved to Georgia in 1990. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Martha and Joe Rooks of Hortense. Three granddaughters, Donna Walker, Marcia Thigpen and Jenny Moore; a grandson, Darryl Rooks; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and a sister Evelena Alsup of Medidian, Texas. Chambless-Frye Funeral Home in charge of services.
