Born Sept. 17, 1920, in Toluca to Giulio and Filomena Constantino DeRubeis, he married Geraldine Brown on March 1, 1940, in Iowa. She died April 22, 1993.
He also was preceded in death by one son, Jack, on May 23, 1969, three sisters and four brothers.
Surviving are two sons, Dominick Jr. (and Beverly) of Toluca and Steven (and Nancy) of Wenona; one daughter, Sharon MacDonald of Cincinnati; one brother, Jim of Toluca; one sister, Lydia Anton of Park Ridge; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He retired from Caterpillar Inc. in Morton.
