Mrs. Sudie Derrick Shealy, 96, of 131 Parsonage Road, Leesville, widow of Samuel T. "Sam" Shealy, died Saturday. Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Paul P. and Alice Idora Dickert Derrick. She was a member of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church and the LCW. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Theresa S. Revis and Mrs. Clarence (Myrtle) Moore of Greenville, Mrs. Anna L. Attaway of Sanford, Fla., and Mrs. Harold (Grace) Shealy of Leesville; a son, S. Grady Shealy of Newberry; a sister, Mrs. Geneva Black of Aynor; grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. J. Hilton Roof, F. L. Keisler and Ronald Lace. Pallbearers will be Paul, Larry and James Shealy, Thomas Attaway, Tommy Blacktston, Larry Hartman and Forrest Haltiwanger. Memorials may be made to the Cedar Grove Lutheran Church building fund or Union Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Charles R. Shealy and Sons Funeral Home and at the home of Mrs. Grace Shealy, 131 Parsonage Road. © The State, Columbia, SC, 31 May 1987
