Mentone--Judson R. Marshall, 78, died at 7 a.m. today in his home after an illness of four months. He was born May 3, 1885, in Wabash County and had lived in this area 38 years. He was a retired farmer.

His first wife, the former Orpha Warren, died in 1922. On Dec. 5, 1931, he married the former Mary K. Miller, who survives. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Howard Silvers, of Silver Lake, Ind.; two sons, Devon and Eugene, Mentone; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a brother, Earl, also of Silver Lake.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday in the King-Reed Memorial Home, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Mentone Cemetery.
