Dau.of, Thomas R. & Nola (Allen) Shelton.
Info from St Clair databaseReportedly child of Thomas R. Shelten and Nola Allen
NOTE: THIS ENTRY BELIEVED TO BE SAME PERSON AS MARY BELLE.

The St. Clair cemetery records have Mary Belle Sept. 25-1905 - Aug 22 1906, and Margaret Sept 25 1905 - Aug 23 1906, indicating they were twin sisters.

However, there is a marker found only for Mary Belle. If twins died one day apart, it would seem there would have been one marker with both names, or at least both would have a marker. In addition, the mother, Nola, indicated in 1910 that she had 1 of 3 children living. There are markers for two of her children who died 1906 and 1907. If there was another child named Margaret, Nola would have had 1 of 4 children living.

It also seems unlikely twins would die one day apart, 2 and 3 days respectively before their 1st birthday.

Am leaving this memorial to match the cemetery records, but not linking it, as it seems this person did not exist.

Possibly the marker engraved "infant of" 1907-1907, was for a child named Margaret?
