Viola Brower Smith of Bennett, daughter of the late Ona Mary Robertson, was born September 2, 1901 at Coffeeburg, Missouri. She passed away October 29, 1981.

She was married to the late Charles Brower February 5, 1919 at her parents' home in Eckley. To this union two daughters were born, now of Edinburg, Texas and Denver, Colorado.

She married Kirby Smith of Bennett in November 1969.

Besides her daughters, she leaves to mourn one brother of Bennett, five grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held November 3 at the Baptist Church of Bennett. Burial was at Mountain View Cemetery of Bennett.
