Ryan Kenneth Joseph Brown, 31 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at his home. He was born January 18, 1982 in Fort Madison, Iowa, a son of George Brown and Julie (Ilmberger) Brown.

Ryan was a 2000 graduate of Fort Madison High School and was known by his friends as "P-nut." He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and member of The Moose. He enjoyed softball, frisbee golf, bowling, playing league pool, going out on the river boating and water skiing. He participated with the Man Country Sporting Events in Keokuk, Iowa. He always remembered family birthdays and enjoyed the family pets. One of his favorite days was St. Patrick's Day. He had a big heart and was especially close to his nieces and nephew. He never knew a stranger and enjoyed spending time with his buddies. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Bernard Ilmberger and Laborn and Ruby Brown.
