Mr. Melvin Foster Edwards was born to the late Mr. Earnest P. Edwards and Mrs. Eula Mae Edwards on June 22, 1953 in Coosa County, Alabama.

He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the New Elam Baptist Church.

Mr. Edwards departed this life on January 18, 2013.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Mr. Earnest P. Edwards and Mrs. Eula Mae Edwards; a loving grandmother Mrs. Lillie Mae Burton.

He leaves to cherish his memories: (1) daughter, Ms. Marie Sharnae Meadows; (3) grandchildren, DeMarcus, Cedarius, and Shanai, all of Kellyton, Alabama; (3) sisters, Mrs. Cathy (Johnny) Baker, Mrs. Sandra (Larry) Gaddis both of Alexander City and Mrs. Sharon (Recardo) Riley of Rockford, Alabama; (4) brothers, Mr. Earnest Edwards, Mr. Stanley (Julia) Edwards, Mr. Rickey Edwards all of Alexander City, Alabama and Mr. Jeffery Earl (Nicole) Edwards of Dadeville, Alabama; a special loving aunt who was like a mother, Ms. Thelma Mitchell of Alexander City, Alabama; and a very special friend, Ms. Tanya McKoy of Alexander City, Alabama; (1) uncle, Mr. Calvin (Sandra) Edwards ofKellyton, Alabama; (4) aunts, Mrs. Cora Edwards of Rockford, Alabama, Mrs. Alley Iverson and Mrs. Annie Lee Wilson of Gadsden, Alabama and Mrs. Mary Edwards of Georgia; special friends, Mr. Willie Louis Tuck, Mr. Lawerance Spivey and Mr. Rodney Calhoun.
