Kori and her brother and sister all died of a rare medical condition. Kori had a cute smile. She loved her family very much.

Kori loved rainbows and the song, "I'll Build you a Rainbow." I think she has built us a rainbow in heaven!

One of Kori's favorite books was "Chester, I Love You."

She loved the color blue.

Kori read the book The Spirit Hath No Handicap by Becky Reeve who was paralyzed in a car accident while on an LDS mission in Arizona.

Kori was impressed by the wonderful attitude of Becky and wanted to meet her. By a special miracle, Becky was able to go to the University of Utah hospital to meet Kori and they became friends. When Kori was out of the hospital, they watched movies on Becky's bed and had a great time together.

They were an inspiration to each other.

Becky would say, "I am so glad I am not Kori-- at least I can eat!"

Kori would say, "I am so glad I am not Becky-- at least I can walk!"

Here is a website with a bit of Becky's story and some little videos of her learning to walk:

Becky Reeve in Sit Tall- Stand Tall"

Kori, you were a special part of our lives and touched all who knew you, even the nurses and doctors in the hospital where you spent so many months.

I am so glad I got to know you! Love, Aunt Sandra
