She worked in the Spokane, Washington area all her life. She was an executive secretary in the Sears corporate office in Spokane.

Nothing is known about her childhood. She moved to Spokane, Washington in her early years (about 1921). The 1930 census states she was divorced and had a six year old child.
She had one child Ray Ramsey born in 1924. Ray Ramsey married Jo Ramsey. He worked in Spokane, Washington as a weather man and taught classes at the college. He then moved to Seattle and became a famous TV weatherman in that area.
