"Anna Margaret Pugh, 81, of Pasadena died of cancer May 18 at her home after a two-year illness.
She was born Feb. 5, 1923, in Pennsylvania and lived in Pasadena for 56 years.
Mrs. Pugh formerly worked as a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service.
She served as treasurer of the North County Emergency Outreach Network and also as secretary and treasurer of the Central Maryland Unit of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International.
Mrs. Pugh enjoyed camping, traveling and needlepoint. The train garden built each year for a benefit raffle for NCEON was housed in her basement.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Harold F. Pugh.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Pugh and David George of Pasadena; two daughters, Joyce George and Frankie M. Pugh of Belmont, N.H.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held yesterday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Interment was in Glen Haven cemetery.
