Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Jane Schenck who died in the Woman's Hospital, Philadelphia, Tuesday morning at 1:30 o'clock following a month's illness will be held from the Leavy Funeral Home here at 2 p.m. The Rev. Dr. E. Roy Hauser will officiate and burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Schenck was born in Howard, Pa. Oct 18, 1875, the daughter of the late William R. and Lucy D. Schenck. She was a member of the St. Johns Lutheran Church of Clearfield and of the Daughters of Liberty.
Her husband, Melvin O. Schenck, died May 30, 1955.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Ragan of Upper Darby, Pa., a son, Carl Schenck, Bellefonte, and two grandsons, A2-c George Schenck, serving with the U.S. Air Force in Guam, and Bill Ragan, Upper Darby. These brothers and sisters also survive: Foster Schenck and George Schenck, both of Blanchard, Pa.; Mrs. Nancy Coder, Bellefonte; Mrs. Sue Tice, Mrs. Bertha Confer and Mrs. Eva Confer, all of Howard.
Friends may call at the Leavy Funeral home tomorrow afternoon and evening, and until time of services Friday.
